DIY: $5 Fascinator

Add the finishing touch to your bridal look with a funky and fun fascinator. These beautiful headpieces can replace a veil or be worn during your reception. Whether it’s soft floral petals or a feathery number with a bold pop of color, you can create your own fabulous fascinator for just $5!

  • Step 1: If you’re unable to find the flower with the clip already attached to it, just buy the silk flower and clip separately and glue them together. A big silk flower costs about $3-5 and a pack of alligator clips will cost about $2-3. Both items can easily be found at Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts.
  • Step 2: Apply epoxy glue to the backside of the button.
  • Step 3: Glue the button in the center of the flower and let dry.
  • Step 4: Trim feathers to desired shape and length.
  • Step 5: Squeeze out a dollop of glue and dip the end of the feather (we used a water bottle cap).
  • Step 6: Carefully insert the feather in between the flower petals, glue-side in.
